Bryan Hulbert - LAS CRUCES, N.M. (August 31, 2013) John Carney II continued his strong weekend at home, earning the weekend sweep in ASCS 305cid competition with his victory at the Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, N.M. on Saturday night.

Working from third, Carney crossed ahead of pole sitter Lorne Wofford. Third went to Dylan Harris with Don Grable charging from seventeenth to fourth. Wes Wofford completed the top five followed by Richard Wilbee, Derek DeMartino, Don Reynolds, Chuck Jackson, and Tyler Jackson to complete the top ten.

The victory for Carney solidified his second straight ASCS 305cid title.
